Rolled over and squinted at the clock – it said 1:10. Made an assumption that it was p.m. because I was, well, groggy and jet lagged (on an 8 hour flight – go figure). My mistake – it was p.m. Same level of light outside either way – but the sun rises at 2:47 today (for the first time – woo hoo!). To celebrate they are going to shoot off fireworks.
